Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrative Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our medical facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare administration, with a focus on patient care and team management. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate administrative functions while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Duties
- Supervise and manage administrative staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee scheduling, patient intake, and medical documentation processes to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate effective communication between departments.
- Monitor patient care quality and implement improvements as necessary.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training for new employees.
- Manage medical records, ensuring accuracy in ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
- Coordinate utilization review processes to optimize patient care and resource allocation.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to administrative functions.
- Provide support for case management, discharge planning, and other patient-centered services.
Experience
Candidates should have a robust background in healthcare settings, including but not limited to:
- Critical care experience, including ICU or PICU
- Medical office experience with knowledge of EMR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks
- Experience in long-term care facilities, assisted living, or nursing homes
- Familiarity with acute care environments, including Level I and II trauma centers
- Proficiency in medical terminology, documentation, and coding (CPT/ICD)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or senior care
- Strong leadership skills demonstrated through supervising experience in a healthcare context
- Knowledge of utilization management processes and case management principles

- This is RN house supervisor to oversee bed management, patient flow, staffing and resource nurse for staff.
- Must have experience as a RN-Nursing Admin Supervisor
- Current MA RN License
- BLS & ACLS required
- Previous travel experience
- BILH Coversheet Required
- COVID Vaccines + Booster required
- Flu vaccine required
- Current staff will need to be vaccinated
- Local candidates not accepted
- Cannot have worked perm/travel for any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $83.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
