Niacc is currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector. This is a challenging position in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our quality team, you will provide valuable support to our managers and team members in accordance with company goals.
Final Inspector's duties include but are not limited to:
- Inspect repaired and overhauled aircraft components using FAA approved and/or accepted data as the means for acceptance on a daily basis.
- Assist in audits which includes internal audits, AS9100C compliance audits, and ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations and internal controls,
- Ensure FAA compliance and assist with special projects, interfacing with Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Engineering departments as and where needed.
- Perform receiving and final inspections as required.
- Perform in-process, pre-assembly and final inspections as required.
- Have a clear understanding of the use of PMA parts and approvals necessary for airworthiness compliance.
- Ensure that completion of all required inspection items takes place in a timely matter.
- Maintain vigilance in our pursuit of continuous process improvement within the organization.
- Conduct Preliminary, Hidden Damage, In-Process, and Final Inspection of all articles processed by the Repair Station and record the results as outlined by the Repair Station and Quality Control Manual as well as customer's requirements.
- Ensure that rejected, unserviceable and scrap parts are handled in such a way as to prevent their return to service.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Clear handwriting.
- Ability to efficiently use a computer keyboard to enter data and look up information.
- Ability to stand at an inspection bench/counter for a few hours at a time each day.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and outgoing manner with internal and external personnel.
- Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
- Minimum 4 years work experience within a Part 145 Repair Station.
- Must be flexible to work long hours including weekends as needed
- Regular use of a push-cart to transport most heavy
- Familiar with PMA and DER processes.
- Highly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with a high attention for detail.
- Must work well with others and be flexible in handling multiple tasks.
- Individual must have strong data entry skills and be fast and accurate.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A&P License preferred or must demonstrate they previously held Repairman Certificate at previous employer.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary.
- Highly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with a high attention for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Pass Near Vision (Jaeger J1) with – Snellen 20/25 assessment
- Pass Color Vision (Ishihara 14 plate) assessment
