Purpose: To supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children while providing a fun, educational, and nurturing environment. To provide overall support for the basic needs of the school in all departmental areas. Candidates must be able to work in the following areas. (Driving, Classroom, etc.) Must have a CPR/First & Fire Safety Certificate.
Requirements: Graduation from high school or GED; high school diploma or higher. A CDA or ECE equivalent. At least 1- 2 years of employment and basic experience working with children. Candidate must be able to drive a vehicle for this position; Must have a valid driver's license and must have an acceptable driver's license record.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Morals and Teachings that support the foundation of God's Teachings.
- Provide developmentally age-appropriate activities for School Age Students.
- Support students with homework, projects, remote learning, internet access, reading support, and language and literacy development.
- Plan creative activities, field trips, weekly activities, games, and opportunities for students to learn skills, habits, and routines.
- Provide a stimulating learning environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive during the after-school hours.
- Availability to work in multiple positions as a teacher, driver, and/ or support staff.
- Implement Transportation safety rules for all children on the bus and ensure that they are followed at all times.
- Transport children to and from school on a normal basis.
- Must ensure that all children are checked on and off the bus according to state regulations second check rule.
- Follow the rules and regulations according to Bright from the Start state policies as well as Quality Rated Standards.
- Maintain a positive attitude and encourage a positive attitude when working with others.
- Model good manners and appropriate behavior in each setting, including the classroom, outdoor learning environments, and meal times.
- Supervise all children enrolled in the extended day program.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
