What You’ll Do
- Teach weekly in-person Spanish classes at local elementary school sites (K–5)
- Lead fun, interactive lessons aligned with communicative language teaching
- Ensure student safety through established check-in and dismissal procedures
- Collaborate with your site team and share feedback to support program alignment
- Show up with consistency, joy, and professionalism — we value your presence!
Where + When
- Schools are located in Smyrna
- Classes take place between 2:00–4:30 PM depending on the school
- Each school is assigned a consistent day of the week
- Typical schedule: 5–10 hours per week, depending on availability
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Fluency in Spanish
- A genuine love for working with children
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to pass a U.S. state and national background check (no exceptions)
Preferred:
- 1+ year of college coursework completed
- Experience teaching Spanish or another language
- Familiarity with communicative or task-based language teaching methods
