- Review and verify maintenance records, logbooks, compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and repair documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformances or discrepancies; collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and QA teams to initiate corrective actions and support continuous quality improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in rotary-wing aircraft quality inspection or OEM quality assurance roles.
- Deep familiarity with aviation regulatory environments (FAA, OEM standards, engineering documentation).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to maintain strict quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Capability to work under a contract arrangement with an eye toward direct hire transition.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Part 145 repair station or equivalent FAA-controlled environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Formal training in inspection techniques, non-destructive testing, or lean quality methodologies.
- Prior exposure to composite materials, assembly alignment, or technical documentation systems.
Working Conditions
- Hands-on inspection work in hangar or maintenance shop environments.
- Some lifting and maneuvering of aircraft parts may be required.
- Adherence to safety protocols, use of PPE, and maintenance of clean and compliant workspaces.
- Potential exposure to varying shifts and flexible scheduling as required by operational needs.
How This Role Supports Aviation Operations
