Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed architectural drawings and plans that align with project specifications and client needs. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, proficiency in drafting software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects and other team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare architectural drawings using software such as AutoCAD
- Create 2D visualisations to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to refine project designs and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Produce detailed schematics for construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Incorporate feedback from project stakeholders into design revisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies relevant to architectural drafting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in drafting software including AutoCad
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration within a team environment.
- A degree or certification in architecture, drafting technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
