Position Summary:
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment at assigned locations. This includes conducting patrols, monitoring activity, responding to incidents, and providing a visible security presence. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned premises to ensure the safety and security of property and personnel
- Monitor surveillance equipment and access control systems
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, or unusual activities in a calm and controlled manner
- Complete clear and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activity
- Enforce site-specific rules and procedures as directed by management or client
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with clients, staff, and the public
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and emergency services if necessary
Qualifications:
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles, if applicable)
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflict when needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid security license (if required by state or local regulations)

Pay:
$25-$40 per hour (depending on experience and assignment)
Available Shifts:
- 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
- Day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
