Facilitators Needed for Community Arts Programs
The A.R.T.S. Community Center (Arts Revealed Through Service) is excited to welcome passionate individuals to help bring our vibrant, community-based arts programming to life. Whether you're a seasoned artist or simply love supporting the arts, there's a place for you on our team!
Facilitator Role (Paid Position)
As a Workshop Facilitator, you will:
- Lead Pre-Curated Programs: Deliver thoughtfully designed lessons in your artistic discipline (visual arts, music, theater, dance, etc.).
- Guide & Inspire: Work with youth and/or adults, coaching participants through creative activities and helping them build confidence.
- Share Your Craft: Exemplify your artistic expertise through hands-on demonstrations and skill-building instruction.
- Collaborate: Work alongside staff and volunteers to ensure a smooth, fun, and enriching experience for all.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in your art form
- Experience working with children and/or adults in group settings
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Compensation: Paid hourly; rate negotiated based on experience and scope
WE ARE ALSO SEEKING VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST IN OUR WORKSHOPS & EVENTS (any youth in your network to apply)
Volunteer Role (Unpaid Position)
As a Workshop Volunteer, you will:
- Support Sessions: Help with setup, sign-in, materials prep, and participant assistance during workshops.
- Encourage Creativity: Cheer on participants and assist facilitators in maintaining a positive, inclusive environment.
- Grow & Connect: Be part of a mission-driven team, gain hands-on experience in community arts, and build lasting connections.

Job Types: Contract, Internship
Pay: $70.00 - $100.00 per hour
