We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and hands-on bilingual person to join and grow with our team. Many of our tenants speak Spanish and it is frequently necessary for the job.
-Making a daily schedule for maintenance
Scheduling is an essential skill in this position and it's evolving daily with tenants and the maintenance crew, so problem solving is just as important.
The ideal candidate would be hands-on and possess strong organizational and time management skills, a customer-focused attitude and passion for learning and building on their skills. You will be responsible for assisting with various administrative tasks, checking on vacant units for assessment and maintaining positive relationships with tenants. Being hands-on and doing light maintenance like replacing smoke detector batteries, etc. and helping maintain curb appeal would be occasionally required. We go inside occupied and vacant apartments with regularity, so employees must be able to do their job in unfavorable environments at times.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely manner and sometimes that would be in-person, so having your own vehicle is necessary.
- Support property maintenance efforts by coordinating repair requests and communicating with maintenance and the tenants.
- Planning and scheduling upcoming repairs, working with all those involved to smooth the process by assisting with details pertinent to each job.
- Assist in the management of property leasing processes, including showing units to prospective tenants, keeping an eye out for overlooked repairs and performing the most basic of maintenance like replacing light bulbs, air filters etc.
- Conduct data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of tenant information and property maintenance requests.
Experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective interaction with tenants and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with office procedures, data entry, and customer relationship management systems is advantageous.
