Summary
Note: This role is not for everyone. It is demanding, but rewarding, with significant potential for advancement within an organization that is growing to become nationwide. You'll report to the group CEO.
We are seeking an office manager to join our team! An understanding of billing, coding, how to deal with insurance companies, and general management -- you will be the front line directly to our mission of providing high-quality healthcare services.
We are only looking for someone who is ambitious, looking to grow, with attention to detail, is hardworking but without the ego, and does not make the same mistake twice.
Unlike almost anywhere else, in this role, if you prove yourself over the first year, there is a path to grow your compensation by 200-300% within 5 years.
Requirements
- Understanding of local insurances, patient eligibility checking, and
- Proven experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management, Prior Auths and J-Code billing
- Willingness to work across, and learn in detail all roles within the clinic (Medical Assistant, Front Desk, Billing Manager, Accounts Payable etc)
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG, and medical terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment.
- Strong understanding of Technology (Microsoft Excel, EMR systems etc)
