About the Role
As the Assistant Office Manager, you’ll work closely with the Practice Manager and Clinic Coordinator to ensure the day-to-day operations of the clinic run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll help uphold our standards of excellence in service, professionalism, and patient satisfaction. Location is Sheridan, WY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily clinic operations and patient flow
- Support front office operations, including scheduling, patient communications, and check-ins/outs
- Act as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams to promote teamwork and efficiency
- Monitor and help maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness in the clinic
- Help oversee performance metrics, patient experience, and quality outcomes
- Train and support team members in their roles and responsibilities
- Address and resolve patient inquiries or concerns with professionalism and care
- Participate in daily huddles, staff meetings, and planning sessions
- Support implementation of office policies and procedures
- Represent the practice positively and professionally at all times

Requirements
- 2–3 years of dental office experience preferred
- Working knowledge of dental billing, insurance processes, and treatment coordination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft) is strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration or business is a plus.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a patient-first mindset.
