The company was started a hundred years ago and has grown to become a multibillion-dollar business covering 17 markets with over 12,000 employees. Our people serve more than 200,000 medical facilities and work with over 450 clients, including the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in the world.

Purpose of the Role:

The role will support RFI/RFQ/RFP activities, supplier (MAH/wholesaler) engagement, commercial evaluation, documentation and compliance, and coordination with internal market SMEs and operational stakeholders.

The role is expected to independently manage assigned sourcing activities while contributing to broader sourcing strategies, strategic supplier/MAH relationships development and commercial opportunities. The role reports formally to the General Manager and works closely with the Sourcing Manager as a key functional partner within Clinical Trial Support.

  • MAH/supplier strategy: Establish and build short- and long-term relationships with MAHs and strategic suppliers to support drug/ancillary supply and demand, develop strategic partnerships, and work towards overarching Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and preferred pricing in compliance with global governance frameworks.
  • Commercial evaluation: Conduct preliminary cost analyses, fee comparisons and unit-price evaluations across competing sourcing options and participate in commercial negotiations within delegated authority.
  • Multi-market sourcing: Work with the market SMEs and the Sourcing Manager to develop and implement sourcing strategies across markets, taking into account availability, regulatory requirements, commercial considerations and supply risks.
  • Supplier performance: Monitor supplier performance against agreed timelines, KPI, and contractual requirements, and proactively identify and escalate risk or deviations.
  • Market intelligence: Analyze market trends, pricing benchmarks, supplier capabilities and relevant financial/supply risks to support sourcing strategies and commercial decisions.
  • Spend and savings: Monitor sourcing spend and support cost-saving, pricing optimization and supply-continuity initiatives.
  • Governance and documentation: Maintain accurate, audit-ready sourcing, supplier qualification, regulatory, quality and contractual records, and ensure activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements and global governance frameworks.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Liaise with Legal, Finance, QA, RA, Logistics, IT and other stakeholders to facilitate sourcing, supplier qualification, process simplification/automation, contractual activities and order execution.
  • Process improvement: Support the development and implementation of sourcing SOPs, tools, templates, KPIs and process improvements, including relevant compliance and audit activities.
  • Strategic development: Contribute to short- and long-term sourcing/category plans for key clinical supply areas and identify opportunities to strengthen the supplier/MAH network and sourcing capabilities.
  • Stakeholder management: Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant and commercially sound sourcing solutions

What will make you successful:
