Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation and repair of automotive glass, ensuring that vehicles are safe and functional for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with auto glass installation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in the Phoenix and surrounding area. We are prepared to pay 125.00 per windshield including calibration when needed
Duties
- Perform installation and replacement of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete installations efficiently and safely.
- Conduct thorough inspections of auto glass for defects or damage prior to installation.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary to facilitate glass replacement.
- Must have mobile calibration equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding services performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in glass installation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Previous experience working in a dealership or mobile setting is required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
