Overview
We are seeking a skilled Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass installation and fabrication, with experience in construction and a variety of related skills. This role involves working on-site to install glass fixtures, perform repairs, and ensure high-quality workmanship in all projects.
Responsibilities
- Install glass products including windows, doors, and mirrors according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for glass installation and fabrication tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for transporting and positioning glass materials.
- Conduct caulking and sealing of installed glass to ensure durability and weather resistance.
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects, providing support in carpentry, assembly, and remodeling tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
- Assist with fixture installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, and trim carpentry as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in glass installation or related fields such as construction or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in the glass industry.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques and practices related to glasswork.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
- Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable.
- Skills in carpentry, metal stud framing, construction painting, and maintenance person tasks will be advantageous.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
