About the Role
As an Express Technician, you’ll play a key role in performing routine maintenance and general repairs on a variety of vehicles. You’ll be responsible for ensuring high-quality service while adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards. Precision, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are at the core of this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Perform oil changes, battery checks, tire rotations, air filter replacements, and fluid top-offs.
- Conduct routine service inspections and complete fluid flushes as needed.
- Check and adjust tire pressure and install new oil drain plugs and filters.
Inspection & Diagnostics
- Conduct Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs) for every vehicle.
- Record inspection findings via video and explain completed work and identified issues to customers.
- Identify systems or components requiring further diagnostics or repair.
Shop Collaboration & Communication
- Work as part of a team to prepare and service vehicles efficiently.
- Communicate with the parts department to ensure timely access to necessary components.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Prior experience as an Express Lube Technician, Automotive Technician or education with an Automotive Technical school preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- A high level of personal motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed.
- Basic mathematical aptitude
- Ability to understand and apply common sense.
- Clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen.
