Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and possess the skills necessary to support their development and well-being. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Prepare meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and potty training as needed.
- Organize playdates, outings, and educational activities to stimulate children's growth.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying up after activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Implement first aid procedures when necessary and ensure the overall health and safety of the children.
Skills
- Proven experience in babysitting or nannying with references available upon request.
- Strong knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and general childcare practices.
- Familiarity with working with people with disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to teach basic skills through play and structured activities.
- Certification in First Aid or CPR is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of all ages.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in various situations related to caregiving.
