Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked items while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail.
- Ensure all food production meets quality standards and is presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Package baked goods for display or sale while ensuring freshness and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, mixers, and knives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation or baking within a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and cake decorating skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen safety practices.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
