CITY GRIT is looking to add new members to our Bakery Team. This candidate must be highly motivated, able to work at a quick pace and keep up with a production schedule. This candidate must have weekend availability and able to work the early morning bake shift (3:00am-11:00am). Pastry experience isn't required but is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of in house baked good items according to product specifications.
- Maintain sanitary and organized kitchen production area, according to all governing codes, guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain walk-in/freezer area.
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions
- Experience working as a contributing and effective team member
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of pastry experience
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and baking
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
- Experience in a customer service or food industry setting

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
