Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while preparing food items.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and product offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service or food industry is required.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• A genuine desire to help customers and provide an exceptional experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
