Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued while enjoying their meals.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, checking in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, striving to resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to create a seamless dining experience for guests.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food handling, and food safety standards.
- Excellent guest relations skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
