Role Description:
The Business Intelligence Analyst analyzes needs, designs, writes and tests new solutions, to fulfill business needs, from coding to testing to debugging to designing to implementing newly developed tools. This person will participate in the conceptualization, design, and development of complex technical solutions daily, ensuring the delivery of high-quality BI solutions that meet project objectives. The ideal person for this role can build OLAP/online analytical processing working with databases, both relational and multidimensional. This role will be an integral component of the organization's data interpretation and analysis group delivering valuable information through Intelligence and Analytics, providing direct support to the entire company. Work as a strategic partner with CDO team members and others to help facilitate data driven solutions through analysis and collaboration with business partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Fully bilingual both oral and written (Spanish/English)
- 4+ years’ experience with database management and analysis
- 2-4+ years’ experience with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI)
- Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to data transformation, functions/expressions, Macros
- Skills in requirements gathering, designing, prototyping, troubleshooting, and supporting users.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with Snowflake is highly desired
- Previous experience programming in Python is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Build OLAP/online analytical processing solutions while supporting and aggregating and mining data from both relational and multidimensional databases.
- Create database tables and write reports on findings presenting information to technical and non-technical audiences while participating in meetings discussing organizational data and future directions of the company.
- Create and run database queries and conduct analyses in various database languages utilizing T-SQL Server, SQL and SnowSQL to interact with Snowflake using SQL commands.
- Build visualizations and reports for requested projects using PowerBI and MS Excel.
- Translate business needs to technical specifications in addition to supporting Product Strategy Team to guarantee that the accurate data is effectively processed and analyzed to understand business needs, customer behavior, and maintain key essential metrics.
- Extract data from databases and other data sources for reporting and to facilitate sharing between multiple data systems.
- Build automatic procedures for monthly and daily reports needed by transferring data from any of our core systems, to help with short and long-term company planning.
- Serve as information support for other company areas by running ad-hoc and other periodical reports while updating and modifying user documentation.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
