Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Boiler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in maintaining and servicing boiler systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and provide excellent customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of heating systems.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of boiler systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to boilers and associated equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to understand system operations.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with HVAC/R teams to integrate boiler systems with existing heating solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Utilize knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical systems to enhance system performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Boiler Technician or in a related field such as HVAC or industrial mechanics.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, hydraulics, and HVAC principles.
- Experience in field service work is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
