Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at troubleshooting various systems. You will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks, supervising projects, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a safe and functional environment.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility equipment.
- Utilize schematics and logic controllers to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with external contractors as necessary.
- Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Use an ohmmeter and other tools to diagnose electrical problems.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents or staff regarding maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of an ohmmeter.
- Experience in supervising projects or teams is preferred.
- Proficient in reading schematics and understanding logic controllers.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus.
- Experience in residential painting is beneficial.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
