Part-Time Business Development Representative
Location: Charlotte, NC (and surrounding area)
Hours: 20–30 per week
Compensation: $30/hour + quarterly commission
Commission: 5% of net sales over the quarterly goal

We are seeking a part-time Business Development Rep to help expand our reach and grow the impact of our work.
About the Position:
In this role you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and engaging potential clients as well as managing inbound leads and referral partner relationships. This role focuses on lead generation, outreach, and follow-up, with an emphasis on relationship building and consultative sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP of HR Operations to set quarterly sales goals, track progress, and identify new opportunities using data and trends
- Research, identify, and connect with potential clients through cold calls, emails, referrals, and online or in-person networking efforts
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client HR needs and introduce our services.
- Keep open, timely communication with HRBPs and internal team members to ensure a smooth handoff and shared understanding of each new client
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date; share regular updates on sales activity and pipeline progress
- Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and support outreach campaigns
- Represent the company at industry events, networking groups, or local business functions as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, consulting, or HR-related services.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to leverage technology in sales process for efficiency
- Comfortable with outbound calling, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with CRMs (Pipedrive, Mailchimp, etc.) is a plus.
- HR or consulting industry experience is a bonus but not required
