Business Litigation Counsel
Job Summary
Boutique commercial litigation firm seeks senior business litigation associate. Law firm is located near Daley Center and Dirksen, and we are looking for an aggressive candidate with an interest and experience in taking cases to trial. Law firm practice areas include intellectual property, corporate litigation, and employment. Impeccable writing and client comfortability are a must, in addition to experience handling matters in both state and federal court.
Ideal candidate must have experience drafting and arguing both written discovery and dispositive motions (Motion to Dismiss, Motion to Compel, etc.), along with substantive court and oral discovery experience. Candidate should be comfortable in a small-firm environment and able to work both independently and within a team setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Will independently argue in court on a daily basis. Will need to write strong briefs within a limited time frame.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be licensed in state and federal court in Illinois.
