Requirements/ Qualifications
The Department is seeking a contract, on-site Business Management Specialist throughout the PO term of this RFQ. The positions' required qualifications and preferred qualifications are described in Sections Required Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications and must be verifiable in the Candidate’s resume.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable. The Department requires the following experience, skills, and knowledge for this position:
10 or more years’ experience in strategic communications or project management, preferably in public-sector IT;
Proven ability to manage communications across multiple large-scale initiatives;
Strong background in change management, crisis communication, and executive reporting;
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (CJIS, HIPAA, NIST); and
Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
NOTE: In addition to the above list, the selected Candidates must successfully complete a Level II Background Check.
Preferred Qualifications
The Department prefers the Candidate to have the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position:
Experience with business process mapping and facilitating sessions with leadership and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs); and
Understanding of web applications supporting business functions
