Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring that guests have a pleasant experience from start to finish.
Duties
- Assist servers by promptly clearing and cleaning tables after guests leave.
- Reset tables for the next guests, ensuring that all utensils, glassware, and condiments are properly arranged.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining room and kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash as needed.
- Help with food service during busy times, including delivering food and beverages to tables.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help others in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices is an advantage.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed in the kitchen or dining area.
