We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist with cleaning and bussing tables to maintain a tidy dining environment.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding their orders and any special requests.
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with food handling and preparation as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including roles in restaurants, catering, or hotels.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Basic knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen operations is advantageous.
