Job Summary
We’re opening a new café in Clearwater—SLOW… Or-On-The-Go™ Café, where travel-inspired food meets a mission of balance, kindness, and connection. From globally influenced breakfast and lunch dishes to thoughtfully sourced, connoisseur-approved coffee, our space is as much about mental wellness and community as it is about good food.
We’re looking for a barista who also works as a cashier. If you love connecting with people, bring a polished appearance and a positive attitude, and want to work somewhere that values balance and happiness—we’d love to meet you.
This is a daytime role, with core café hours from 7 AM to 3 PM. As we grow, additional hours will be available, including weekend brunches, Sunday tea, and events and catering.
Duties
- Craft espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages with care and consistency
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide helpful, attentive service
- Use the Toast POS system to take orders, manage transactions, and answer menu questions
- Keep the bar and counter areas clean, stocked, and organized
- Handle and present desserts with attention to detail
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
- Maintain a professional appearance and contribute to a warm, respectful team dynamic
- Support other team members including kitchen staff and servers, to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with light prep, cleaning, and occasional event service aif needed
Helpful Experience
Not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
- Friendly, outgoing personality with great communication skills
- Pride in providing exceptional service with genuine attention to detail
- Comfort multitasking while staying calm and kind
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to contribute to a team-focused space
- Familiarity with the Toast POS system is a plus, but not required
- Interest in food, coffee, wellness, or global culture is a bonus

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 46 per week
