Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in Home Care. This role involves working closely with patients to enhance their quality of life while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and cooking.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support clients with mobility assistance, including pivot transfers.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and cognitive function, particularly for those with Alzheimer's or dementia care needs.
- Document patient progress and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall well-being of clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or direct support professional is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting patients with mobility needs.
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
