Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to lead our banquet and catering operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and management, with a focus on business development and customer service. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. The Catering Manager will be responsible for overseeing catering events, developing client relationships, and driving sales growth through effective territory management and lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement catering sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Manage all aspects of catering operations, including event planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective account management.
- Conduct outside sales activities to generate new business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the catering process, addressing any client concerns promptly.
- Train and mentor staff on sales techniques, upselling strategies, and customer engagement best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in catering management or a related field with a strong focus on sales.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
- Strong understanding of sales processes
- Proficiency in CI/TY and able to detail BEOS
- Exceptional analysis skills to evaluate market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
