Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in culinary arts and guest services. As a Caterer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences for our clients, ensuring that all food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards. Your role will involve working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences while maintaining a focus on food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of dishes in accordance with client specifications and dietary requirements.
- Manage food service operations during events, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with event planners to create customized catering menus that meet client expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing areas as needed during events to maintain a tidy environment.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in catering or restaurant settings.
- Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation styles.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and hospitality.
- Familiarity with banquet service protocols and event catering logistics.
- Ability to handle food safely, following all health regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in hotel or coffee service environments is a plus.
