We are currently seeking a licensed CPRS, or someone with all Peer Support training completed who needs to get field hours for licensure.

The job is to provide supportive case management for clients in residential or outpatient substance abuse treatment.

Valid drivers license and good recent driving record required. Transporting clients to medical, legal, and entitlements appointments is a daily task.

Help early-stage clients maintain sobriety and get basic needs met. Track the status of their SNAP and TDAP applications, assist them in making and keeping medical appointments, obtaining legal identification, etc.

Help later-stage clients achieve employment and stable long-term housing. Help them find job training, educational opportunities, stable housing.

Work closely with substance abuse clinical team, mental health providers, nursing and management to advocate for each client and help them through the treatment process.

Document client encounters and case management progress in the digital chart EHR system.

Salary: Hourly negotiable.

Shifts: Flexible

Essential Functions

Support clients in all stages of recovery process. Provide transportation for clients using company vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications

● Driver's License-

● Certified Peer Recovery Specialist licensed by MABPCB or;

● All CPRS classes completed and ready for field hours.

● Organization and documentation skills.

● Reliable Transportation.

● Strong professional ethics.

● Basic computer and keyboarding skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite)

● Knowledge of community resources and be willing to develop relationships with community partners.

● Must be drug-free (minimum of 2 years)

Required Licenses, Registrations, Certifications

Certified Peer Recovery Specialist licensed by MABPCB, State of MD driver’s license.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
