We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Technician to join our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water damage restoration and mold remediation, with the ability to effectively utilize hand and power tools. This role involves working on-site to restore properties affected by water damage, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Assess and evaluate water damage in residential and commercial properties.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform restoration tasks effectively.
- Execute mold remediation processes to ensure a safe environment for clients.
- Clean and restore carpets, flooring, and other affected materials.
- Build and install necessary structures or barriers as part of the restoration process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of restoration projects.
- Follow safety protocols, including asbestos abatement procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience in water damage restoration or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with mold remediation techniques is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and moving heavy materials.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety on job sites.
