Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive, nurturing and educational environment for children. This role involves working with children , implementing engaging lesson plans, supporting their developmental needs, and having fun! The Child Care Assistant Teacher will play a vital role in shaping young minds and ensuring a safe, inclusive, nurturing and stimulating atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all children, including those with disabilities or autism.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a safe space for learning.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in childcare is preferred but not required
- Experience taking care of children in other capacities (babysitting, nannying, education, etc.) will certainly be considered
- Familiarity with positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques is essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is beneficial.
