We is are looking for an organized, approachable Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher's responsibilities include formulating and implementing curriculum to meet the basic and educational needs of the students. In this position, you will also be required to track and report on students' progress, and ensure that classes remain safe and conducive to learning.
To ensure success as a Lead Toddler Teacher, you should be compassionate and able to work well under pressure. Top-notch Lead Teachers should liaise with other departments to advance the school's objectives, and should remain up-to-date with advances in early childhood development research
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Designing and implementing curriculum that cater to the basic and educational needs of the students.
Training, supervising, and mentoring teachers to ensure that they perform well.
Conducting child assessments, documenting and reporting on students' process.
Establishing relationships with each family to ensure that their child's needs are met.
Leading staff and parent meetings.
Organizing and engaging in occasional team-building activities.
Basic care and nurturing of children
Conducting a classroom in compliance with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and Step Up To Quality guidelines
Building professional relationships with parents and co workers
Daily cleaning of classrooms and toys

Required Skills and Experience:
Career Pathways Level 3 certification
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience(preferred)
CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
