We are looking for a positive, personable, and organized Billing/Insurance specialist to help maintain our growing Chiropractic office. The ideal candidate will have experience with insurance companies, an understanding of patient billing, and insurance/ coding. This candidate will enjoy interacting with patients, insurance companies, and other healthcare professionals on a daily basis. This individual will be responsible for handling financials, insurance and billing questions within the clinic, while working with our outsourced billing company.
Other duties include, manage daily operations, deposits, working with the CPA quarterly/ year end, and handling office questions. Follow-up on overdue accounts, contacting patients regarding outstanding balances, creating financial reports, and being able to work with a potential collection agency will be required. This individual will perform administrative duties, and cross train for front desk duties. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are a requisite in this position. Must be proficient in Excel , Quickbooks, and have an understanding of insurance/ coding. Experience with billing and associates degree preferred.
