At LSDP, we're building more than parts - we’re building momentum. As demand grows and our fleet of CNC machines expands, we’re looking for the right individual to help us take our programming and manufacturing operations to the next level.
We’re on the hunt for a CNC programmer who’s hands-on, quality-driven, and passionate about pushing manufacturing forward. If you not only enjoy writing great code but also have the instinct to improve processes, train others, and solve problems on the floor - this might be the place for you.
This role is ideal for someone who knows how to drive machines - but more importantly, knows how to drive performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Programming & Process Development
- Program complex parts for Haas and Doosan mills/lathes using Fusion 360 and/or other CAM software.
- Optimize speeds, feeds, and tool paths for efficient, repeatable machining.
- Build and maintain a tooling library - know what we have, what works, and what needs improving.
- Develop and document best practices for setups, workholding, and programming logic.
- Play a lead role in standardizing our workflow for repeatability and scale.
Team Collaboration & Floor Leadership
- Work directly with machinists to troubleshoot, improve, and support programs on the floor.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to new team members and less experienced machinists.
- Participate in daily production planning and workflow meetings.
- Be a resource—not just a programmer. Help our team grow more capable and confident.
Hands-On Support Where It Matters
This role isn’t just behind a desk. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and jump in when things get busy. That means proving out your programs, helping operators get up to speed, and pitching in on hot jobs when we need to deliver under pressure. If your first instinct is to walk toward the action, not away from it - you’ll fit right in.
Continuous Improvement & Manufacturing Strategy
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, tooling, and material usage.
- Help identify gaps in process, training, or equipment that affect throughput and quality.
- Assist with job costing and quoting as needed, based on tooling and program estimates.
- Bring creative solutions to the table - we welcome new thinking backed by real-world experience.
Tooling Management & Standardization
- Own the management of all tooling assets and consumables - from high-value tools to everyday cutters and inserts.
- Track tooling usage to reduce waste and increase visibility across shifts.
- Standardize tool selection and simplify setups across machines.
- Build and maintain a centralized tooling inventory and smart reordering system.
- Implement tooling strategies focused on cost savings, reliability, and efficiency.
This is more than a support function - tooling and process standardization are key to our ability to scale. You’ll help us cut smarter, faster, and more consistently, while eliminating bottlenecks and tribal knowledge from the process.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience programming CNC mills and lathes, especially Haas and Doosan.
- Working knowledge of Fusion 360, GibbsCam, or other CAM/CAD platforms.
- Practical understanding of tooling, cutting strategies, workholding, and material behavior.
- Experience troubleshooting on the shop floor and supporting machinists directly.
- The ability to lead by example, communicate clearly, and follow through.
- A mindset focused on team wins, not just personal performance.
Bonus Points:
- Prior leadership or training experience in a production environment.
- You don’t need micromanaging - you spot problems, take initiative, and start solving.

If you're the type of person who thrives in a fast-paced, no-excuses environment where quality matters and teamwork drives results, we’d love to hear from you.
