Coffee Packaging Operator
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Coffee Packer/Machine Operator. This person will be responsible for converting roasted coffee into finished, packaged products in accordance with defined quality, productivity, safety, and cost standards. This person will be operating heavy machinery such as an Industrial Packing Machine, Auger, and Coffee Grinder.
Duties:
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment to assemble, label, and package products according to company standards
- Monitor production line to ensure efficient and accurate packaging processes
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues with packaging equipment
- Follow the daily production schedule as given
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate packaging machinery
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Someone that can multi-task and is a self-starter with a postive attitude
- A proactive person that takes ownership of their responsibilities—with the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
