Summary
The Area Supervisor for C.M. Cleaning Company will oversee a regional group of accounts, ensuring that the specifications outlined in each contract are performed efficiently and effectively. The area supervisor is wholly responsible for the day and nighttime operation and success of their accounts while overseeing and supporting the foreman and cleaning technicians.
Schedule Requirements:
- This is a full-time second-shift position, Monday through Friday: Flexibility and weekend work applies based on business needs and emergency situations.
Job Duties to Include:
- Responsible for maintaining account quality by leading and collaborating with cleaning technicians to ensure contractual expectations are being exceeded.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiencies within accounts, performing continuous training with cleaning technicians.
- Effective communication and leadership skills with cleaning technicians to provide constructive feedback, leading by example with a positive attitude.
- Following through on special service project work being performed at assigned service locations and assisting or answering account related questions as needed.
- Performing customer requests and addressing and rectifying account complaints alongside cleaning technicians ensuring they are maintained proactively in the future.

- Communication of new directives, policies, or procedures meeting with staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain positive morale.
- Enforcing implemented policies to ensure cleaning technicians are in compliance.
- Managing staffing levels, schedule changes, account coverages and assisting with recruiting of open positions as assigned service locations as necessary.
- Performing quality inspections in all assigned service locations and working with cleaning technicians on areas in need of improvement before it becomes a complaint.
- Managing and maintaining equipment and supplies inventory within service locations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an area supervisor for commercial cleaning company
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and customer service oriented.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft and related software
- Positive attitude
