Community Care Solution Advisor (EHRM)

Emerging Tech is seeking a Community Care Solution Advisor to join our team in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) initiative. In this role, you will help drive the design, coordination, and implementation of community care solutions across a large-scale healthcare transformation. This position sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and stakeholder engagement—ideal for a experienced professional in information architecture and electronic health record systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide logistical and programmatic support to Community Care Workgroup Chairs and members in a collaborative, matrixed environment
• Track and manage service tickets, and coordinate with VA sites to validate workflows and processes
• Facilitate cross-council collaboration and issue resolution between Council Chairs, Oracle Health, and the EHRM IO Council Command Center
• Document technical meetings, capturing requests, decisions, and design considerations
• Collaborate on workflow and system build/design updates with VA and Oracle Health teams
• Review Oracle Health delivered training materials and job aids to ensure accuracy and alignment with workflows
• Support planning for system cutover, go-live, and post-implementation activities

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience (8 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree)
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Familiarity with Oracle Health or other Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale enterprise information architectures
• Understanding of open systems architecture and integration with legacy systems
• Ability to support project planning, business case development, and evaluation of solution impacts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Knowledge of Community Care Referral Management and Intra-Facility Consults
• Experience with Authorization, Eligibility, and Scheduling processes in healthcare settings
• Strong background in validating and testing EHR solutions in complex environments
