Currently, we're on the lookout for a highly creative and self-motivated Graphics Lead to join our spectacularly talented team, recognized as the best in the world at what they do!
At DCL, we value positive attitudes, quick thinking, and professionalism. In this role, you'll be responsible for the technical layout of graphic images used in the production of custom architectural signage. This is not a web or graphic design position; this is about precision layout, using specialized software to adjust kerning and leading, generate proofs for internal and client review, and create production files for vinyl plotting, film output, and paint/sandblast masks. You’ll also regularly assist in the manual installation of vinyl graphic images. A strong grasp of shop drawings, attention to detail, and solid organizational skills are essential for success.
If the following describes you, we want to hear from you!
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in CorelDraw and/or Adobe Illustrator
- Understanding Drawings: Comfortable reading and comprehending shop drawings, including sections and elevations
- Production Knowledge: Background in vinyl application, sign production, or a similar technical discipline is highly preferred
- Detail-Oriented: Extremely organized with a strong eye for detail
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player: Flexible, collaborative, and successful in a fast-paced environment
- Technical Aptitude: Good with numbers and has an understanding of dimensional design and production logic
- ADA Experience: Experience with large-scale, multi-room ADA signage packages is a plus
- Sense of Humor and Communication Skills: Maintain a positive attitude and excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Pride in Work: Take ownership of your role and responsibilities
