Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and be proficient in various finishing techniques. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces and structures, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Duties
- Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Mix and pour concrete using a concrete mixer, ensuring proper consistency and quality.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation techniques.
- Install rebar and other reinforcements as required for structural integrity.
- Apply finishing techniques such as plastering, caulking, and stucco for aesthetic appeal.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials on-site as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to execute project plans accurately.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation, restoration, and construction projects including hardscape installations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete finishing with a strong understanding of construction practices.
- Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete work.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is preferred.
- Experience with various techniques including masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, frame carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, welding, and heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately from blueprints or schematics.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is essential.

Pay: From $150.00 per day
