We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Pump Operator & Pump Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete pumping and a strong understanding of construction site operations. As a Concrete Pump Operator & Pump Helper , you will be responsible for operating concrete pumps to ensure the efficient delivery of concrete to various locations on the job site. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals. Concrete pump helpers are to assist and help maneuver and work safely alongside the Pump Operator and Contractors and whatever is needed to get the job done.
Duties
- Operate concrete pumps safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to determine the best locations for concrete pouring.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on concrete pumping equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage the setup and breakdown of pumping equipment, including hoses and pipelines.
- Assist in mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Transport materials using dump trucks or commercial vehicles as required.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including those involved in concrete forming and finishing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete pumping or related construction roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of concrete mixing, forming, and finishing techniques is a plus.
- Ability to dig trenches or perform other physical labor as necessary on-site.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction environments.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 70 per week
