Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern Manager to join our dynamic team. The Intern Manager will assist in overseeing various aspects of construction projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with safety standards. Duties
- Assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Support the project management team in coordinating tasks and resources on-site.
- Conduct quality inspections and control measures to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Participate in construction estimating processes, helping to prepare accurate cost assessments for materials and labor.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to monitor progress, address any issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Gain exposure to electrical systems and components, contributing to inspections and assessments as required.
- Document daily activities on-site, including progress reports, safety checks, and quality control measures.
- Engage with team members to foster a collaborative work environment focused on achieving project goals.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or construction site environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and quality control processes is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to project management and construction practices.
