Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. AE Builders is an owner operated construction firm and you will work closely with the owner to build multiple projects at the same time.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and building codes.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate work schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities effectively.
- Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate cost assessments for projects.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily logs and reports on work completed.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met by reviewing contracts and managing compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Tenant Improvement Construction Superintendent with laboratory and clean room experience.
- 5 years Exerperince running job sites over 30,000SF and valued over $3M
- Ability to use Ipad and some technical ability with computers
- Ablity to run multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with construction estimating software such as Bluebeam is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
