Construction Technology & Innovation Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process & Technology Strategy
- Analyze and optimize business processes across departments to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Develop and maintain a 1-, 3-, and 5-year roadmap for enterprise software and digital transformation
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of business-critical applications
AI, Machine Learning & Innovation
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI/ML for predictive analytics, automation, and decision support in construction operations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to pilot and scale innovative technologies
- Stay current with emerging trends in construction tech, AI, and data science to ensure BSC remains an industry leader
Project Management & Implementation
- Oversee cross-functional technology projects from planning through execution
- Coordinate training, change management, and user adoption strategies
- Serve as the primary liaison between software vendors, IT, and internal stakeholders
Application & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with software and solution vendors, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and support coordination
- Ensure vendor solutions align with business needs, compliance standards, and integration requirements
- Monitor software licensing, renewals, and service-level agreements (SLAs)
System Integration & Support
- Ensure seamless integration between business systems to enhance data flow and reporting
- Provide hands-on support and training for business applications
- Maintain documentation of best practices, workflows, and system configurations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a construction technology, business systems, or innovation-focused role
- Strong knowledge of civil construction software platforms (e.g., HCSS, B2W, Viewpoint, Trimble, Procore, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
- Experience with AI/ML concepts and their application in business or construction environments
- Proven experience in business process mapping and enterprise software implementation
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, system integration, and vendor management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
