We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Full-Time Controller to lead our accounting operations and play a strategic role in driving the company’s financial health and growth.
Position Overview
As our Controller, you’ll take ownership of all accounting functions while working closely with leadership to guide financial strategy. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting and big-picture thinking. The Controller will play a key role in supporting our growth and maintaining our reputation as an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting and compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to maintain financial integrity.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of Accounting and controller experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Experience with financial software such as NetSuite is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Experience in distribution or a similar industry is a plus
