Job Summary:
Monticello Motor Club, a premier automotive county club located in Monticello, NY is seeking seasonal Corner Marshals. Responsible for track safety by communicating track conditions to control and communicating track conditions to drivers via flags.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Maintains visual contact with drivers and track and informs control of issues and concerns.
· Communicates track conditions and safety issues to drivers via flags.
· Maintains and detailed incident log of safety issues such as poor driving throughout the shift and passes on the incident log to the track safety manager at the end of each shift.
· Signs out and maintains safety and other equipment at the beginning of each shift and reports equipment malfunctions or issues to control.
· Assists in track clean-up operations throughout the shift as necessary.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
All candidates will be subject to complete background screening prior to employment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
