LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and team-driven Corporate Administrative Assistant to join our mission-driven team in Gainesville, FL. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide high-level administrative support to the General Counsel or the CFO, playing a vital part in helping us save lives through blood donations.
LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. We are committed to meeting the blood supply needs of hospitals and their patients by providing the highest quality blood components and services. With more than 45 donor centers, 55 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel for executive leadership
- Prepare correspondence, field calls, and handle inquiries with professionalism
- Act as a liaison between executive officers and internal departments
- Provide logistical support for quarterly Board of Directors and Committee meetings
- Maintain inventory and order office supplies
- Assist with HR processes, donor reimbursements, insurance documentation, and safety initiatives
- Lead and implement special projects as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in administrative support or clerical roles strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience managing multiple projects with a sharp attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license required; must meet company eligibility requirements.

Our Mission
